Imitating a spike of aged wood takes great skill because nuance is required to echo the true character of woodgrain and decomposition. Fortunately our artisans are very adept at it. The Medium Plinth Sculpture is one example, as it is made of composite and then hand-finished in a silver leaf that has great patina. We also offer the Plinth in small and large sizes. Each of these reflects the ethos that Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic.
